RADIANT HEAT OPTIONS

If you are in the market for a radiant heat system, you have ventured to the right place. Our goal is to provide you with as many options as possible, then help you select the best solution for any project that will fit your individual needs and budget. Warmzone is not limited to one brand of radiant heat solutions; therefore, there are several types of systems (some shown below) that we recommend for radiant spatial heating and floor warming.

FloorHeat System - This low-voltage system uses a technologically advanced, polymer heating element that comes in 9 or 12-inch wide rolls. It is a popular product because of its performance and self-regulating attribute. Because of its low profile (practically paper thin), installing any floor surface over FloorHeat is simple and effective. The heating element can even be installed under cement board so that no mortar buildup is necessary. FloorHeat is an excellent heating solution for carpet, hardwood, tile, marble, slate, linoleum, and vinyl.

ComfortTile System - Compatible with all standard sub-flooring materials For tile floor warming, ComfortTile is available off the spool or pre-spaced in mats. The heat cable is easily installed directly under tile or natural stone to provide comfortable, even floor temperatures in your bathroom, kitchen, entryway, or other hard surfaced areas. The floor heating mats are compatible with all standard sub-flooring materials, and its low 3/16-inch (3 mm) profile, also make ComfortTile heat cable ideal for renovations.

The ComfortTile floor heating mats include a red heating cable that is woven into an adhesive-backed fiberglass mesh, allowing for simple roll-out installation without worrying about heating cable spacing. The floor warming mats are pre-terminated for use with 120 and 240 volts, and are available in various lengths of 24-inch widths to accommodate any room’s layout.

HeatShield System - This efficient system includes the HeatShield floor insulation panels that consist of a ˝-inch thick polystyrene insulation covered with a thin, specially profiled aluminum. The design of the floor insulation panel ensures excellent downward insulation and optimum upward heat distribution that reduces energy consumption. ComfortTile heat cable is used in conjunction with the HeatShield Panels.
